Care and Longevity Guidelines
To maintain the crisp paint applications and smooth surfaces of your mini figures, regular gentle cleaning is recommended. Use a dry, clean microfiber cloth or a soft-bristled artist brush to sweep away dust from intricate spots like helmet seams and starship paneling. Avoid using harsh chemical solvents, alcohol-based wipes, or liquid cleaners, as these can strip the protective topcoat or dull the pigments. Keep the box structure and vinyl contents away from direct heat sources and direct sunlight to prevent material warping or color shifting over extended periods.
Preserving the structural integrity of the outer display box ensures it remains a valued part of your collection for years to come. Store the packaging in a cool, dry room when not in active use during the off-season. Avoid placing heavy items on top of the outer shell to prevent crushing the internal perforated trays. By handling the fold-out doors carefully during daily reveals, you maintain the clean display aesthetic, allowing you to re-use or present the calendar box as an enduring tribute to five decades of galactic history.
